  3. SPH releases statement on impacts of anti-Blackness as Black History Month begins

UW School of Public Health Dean Hilary Godwin and Wendy E. Barrington, the director of the UW Center for Anti-Racism and Community Health (ARCH), released a statement to the school’s community today.

“We encourage you to reimagine how public health can be part of the solution –– how we can contribute to exposing the corrosive history of racism and positively contribute to the well-being of all communities.”

ARCH is housed within the UW Department of Health Systems and Population Health (HSPop). And the department is within the UW School of Public Health.
