The University of Washington Bachelor of Science in Health Informatics and Health Information Management (HIHIM) program provides students with the necessary skills to launch their careers in the dynamic fields of health informatics and health information management.

The major is delivered in an in-person format with hybrid format components, with students attending classes in the early evening on the Seattle campus for two days each week.

The health informatics and health information management accreditor of the University of Washington is the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM). The college’s accreditation for the master degree in health informatics and health information management has been reaffirmed through 2027.
