Nicole “Nikki” Dettmar received the Outstanding Staff Award in the UW Department of Health Systems and Populations Health (HSPop) during the annual UW School of Public Health (SPH) Awards of Excellence. HSPop is a department within SPH.
Dettmar is a continuing education coordinator with the Northwest Center for Public Health Practice, a research center housed in HSPop. Although Dettmar joined NWCPHP in 2019, she has been a University of Washington employee for more than two decades and was previously with UW Libraries and UW Medicine.
Her undergraduate degree is from UW and her two master’s degrees are from the University of North Texas in information sciences and learning technologies.
