  3. Multiple HSPop programs in US News & World Report’s 2026 Rankings

The U.S. News & World Report 2026 Graduate School rankings have been released, and the University of Washington School of Public Health (UW SPH) continues to offer some of the best public health graduate education in the country. UW SPH ranked No. 10 among public health graduate schools. Across SPH, a total of six graduate programs can be found in the top 25, the Department of Health Systems and Population Health (HSPop) has three programs receiving recognition this year.

The HSPop MPH program was tied at 12th for the Social and Behavioral Sciences concentration, and 13th for the Health Systems & Policy concentration (health policy and management category), both up from 14th place last year. The MHA program held its position from last year, tied for 16th place.

The US News & World Report rankings of public health schools and programs are based on opinion surveys that are sent to deans, program directors, and other peers.  Learn more about U.S. News’ methodology here.
