Bio

Debi Primeau is Primeau Consulting Group’s Founder and President and leads the consulting practice in providing regulatory compliance, information governance, HIM staffing and auditing services. Debi has held positions in ambulatory care, acute care, and has worked with large consulting companies overseeing clients in Health Information, CDI, Audit and Education, and Privacy and Security.

Debi has a degree in business management, in addition to a graduate degree in organizational management. She is an AHIMA Fellow, Past-President of the California Health Information Association, received the CHIA Distinguished Member award in June 2013 and the Industry Champion Award in June 2018. She currently is the Chair for the AHIMA Commission on Certification of Health Informatics and Information Management (CCHIIM).
