Bio
Peggy Hannon is director of the Health Promotion Research Center, a CDC Prevention Research Center.
Dr. Hannon’s research focuses on dissemination and implementation research, with an emphasis on cancer screening and workplace health promotion. She develops and tests interventions in partnership with entities such as state and local departments of health to disseminate evidence-based practices to workplaces, federally qualified health centers, and other settings.
She also leads the Biobehavioral Cancer Prevention and Control Training Program, which supports pre- and postdoctoral fellows who wish to pursue a career in cancer-related research.
