Bio
Dr. Bell served as Director of the Extended Master of Public Health Degree Program and taught on policies and programs related to the health of children, adolescents and families, with an emphasis on disadvantaged populations. Her research was broadly based in child and adolescent health in community and school settings. Projects included: evaluation of innovations such as coordinated school health programs, school-based health centers for adolescents, and community-based interventions for adolescents at risk of early pregnancy, sexually transmitted diseases, drug use, and violence.
