
Bio
Sara Vaezy is the former Chief Transformation Officer for Providence where she was responsible for the development of the organizations’ transformation strategy through technology innovation and responsible adoption of AI to enable the delivery system of the future. Vaezy also led the consumer and patient-facing experiences for the system through marketing, brand, digital consumer experience, digital innovation, and virtual care to drive sustainable growth. She contributed to the development of 4 technology spin-outs with over $500M in total enterprise value. She established Providence as a leader and partner in the digital health and innovation ecosystems, collaborating with over 150 health systems, venture capitalists, industry analysts, health futurists and visionaries, and digital health organizations.
She serves as a board director of AARP Services Inc (ASI) and the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). She is a clinical faculty member of the University of Washington School of Public Health and faculty member of the Harvard Executive Education program, where she teaches courses on digital health strategy and innovation. She has received numerous awards and honors including the Modern Health Innovators Award (2024), Rock Health Top 50 in Digital Health Luminary (2023), and the Business Insider 30 under 40 Transforming the Future of Healthcare (2019) awards. Her writing has been featured in many publications including Harvard Business Review, Geekwire, Forbes, and the New England Journal of Medicine Catalyst.
