Bio

Dennis Stillman earned a BA in Business from the University of Puget Sound, and an MHA from UW in 1979. In 2012 he was awarded Distinguished Alumnus of the University of Puget Sound School of Business and Leadership.

Stillman began his health care career as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Brazil. He has 16 years of teaching experience in accounting and financial management at UW. Prior to becoming a faculty member, and establishing a consulting practice, Stillman worked in health care organizations for 20 years, including 11 years as the CFO for the UW Medical Center. He is active in the Washington/Alaska Chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and achieved Fellowship status in 1991.
