Research Interests
Interventions to support lifestyle behavior change including sedentary behavior, physical activity, and sleep in older adults and people with chronic conditions; dementia prevention; wearable devices (e.g. research grade accelerometers; Fitbit); mobile health interventions; health coaching interventions; trials and epidemiology.
Bio
For more than 15 years, Dr. Rosenberg has developed interventions and conducted randomized controlled trials on health behavior change including physical activity, sedentary time, diet, and sleep, leveraging wearable devices among older adults and populations with chronic conditions. She also conducts lifestyle interventions to prevent dementia.
Dr. Rosenberg leads the accelerometer sub-study of the Adult Changes in Thought (ACT) cohort focusing on the role of the 24-hour activity cycle (physical activity, sedentary time and sleep) in aging-related outcomes such as cognition and physical function.
