Bio

Kathleen Peterson has practiced health informatics and information management in managerial and staff positions in both civilian and Department of Defense acute care facilities as well as consulting firms. Her teaching experience is in classroom-based and online health informatics and information management programs. She holds AHIMA’s Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) credential, AHIMA Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), and the Certified Professional in Health Informatics (CPHI) credential, focused on informatics, information technology, and healthcare analytics.
