Bio

Mohit Nair is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Systems and Population Health. Outside of UW, he currently works as a researcher focused on Responsible AI, compliance, and governance efforts at Microsoft. Previously, he served as a Social Research Scientist with Public Health Seattle & King County, where he evaluated large-scale public health programs in early childhood education and criminal legal system reform. Prior to arriving in Seattle, Mohit worked as a Qualitative Research Manager with Doctors Without Borders in India, where he focused on understanding the drivers of antibiotic misuse, palliative care needs for patients living with HIV, quality of life perceptions among patients living with HIV and visceral leishmaniasis, among other topics.
