Current research includes evaluating the role of family medicine in reducing health inequities including how best to implement lifestyle medicine curricula into medical education.

Bio

Emily M. Godfrey MD, MPH is a practicing family physician and public health researcher. She is fellowship trained in family planning and a former researcher at Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Division of Reproductive Health in Atlanta, GA. She is board certified in both family medicine and lifestyle medicine. She holds training certificates in patient safety & quality and motivational interviewing.
