Bio

Miruna Buta is the director of the Online MPH program and an affiliate investigator at the Health Promotion Research Center. She is an associate teaching professor in the Department of Health Systems and Population Health and adjunct faculty in the Department of Sociology. Buta’s research has mostly focused on healthy aging, social networks, and dissemination and implementation of evidence-based programs. She earned her doctorate in sociology from the University of California, Irvine.
