Cost
The UW Master of Health Administration (MHA) program is a self-sustaining, fee-based program administered by the UW Department of Health Systems and Population Health (HSPop) in partnership with UW Continuum College.
Course fees are charged on a per-credit basis and are the same for Washington state resident and nonresident students. In addition to course fees, students pay other required fees each quarter, including registration, technology, and U-PASS (bus and transportation) fees. Costs for textbooks and other course materials are extra.
Payments are due by the third Friday of the quarter.

Scholarships for Current Students
Our program, department, school, and university provide various scholarships for students. MHA students are eligible for the program and department scholarships below.
The following scholarships are currently open for applications from current E/MHA students. The deadline to apply is November 3rd at 11:59pm PST. Recipients will ne notified by December 20th, 2024.

Application Overview
Our MHA scholarships listed above share the same deadline and application form. Essay requirements, details, and the link to the application form are emailed directly to current students. MHA scholarship essays must be unique to the year and specific to the award. Please do not submit an essay from a previous year, and do not submit the same essay for each award. Students can apply for more than one scholarship but cannot receive more than one award.
Award decisions are made by the program directors and a review committee of teaching faculty. Applicants are anonymous during the review process. Award winners are recognized publicly in the alumni newsletters and other communication channels.
