The Washington-based center will be led in part by professor India Ornelas, assistant professor Maggie Ramirez, and adjunct associate professor Allison Cole of the Department of Health Systems and Population Health in the University of Washington’s School of Public Health and the Kaiser Permanente Washington Research Institute.

Ornelas Named 2023 Aspen Institute Ascend Fellow
India Ornelas, Acting Chair and Professor of Health Systems and Population Health, has been named an Aspen Institute 2023 Ascend Fellow. The Ascend Fellowship brings together leaders from across the U.S. who are transforming systems to promote the well-being and prosperity of all children and families.
