The UW Bachelor of Science in Health Informatics and Health Information Management (HIHIM) program places a strong emphasis on practical experience to prepare students for a professional career. In their culminating Capstone project, students are matched with a healthcare provider, vendor, or organization to gain experience in areas such as health information systems implementation, data analysis, health informatics, change management, healthcare quality, and regulatory compliance.

Sponsoring a Capstone project allows you to engage with our students as they solve a complex, real-world challenge in your organization. Our students are equipped and ready to accomplish your project objectives from March through June, 2025.
