The UW Executive Master of Health Administration (MHA) program places a high priority on helping you take the next step in your career. We offer a variety of programs and services to support and enhance professional development.
Advising
The Executive MHA program has a dedicated advisor who is available to discuss your career goals, explore career paths, review your resume, and connect you with a mentor or alum.
Professional Development Sessions
Professional development sessions are offered quarterly and allow students to engage with industry-based leaders, visionaries, policymakers, and Executive MHA alumni from local health care organizations.
Peer and Professional Mentoring
We place a high priority on helping you build your own set of professional contacts. During your time in the program, students have the opportunity to connect with senior Executive MHA students, alumni, and industry professionals at program-sponsored events. These activities include informal opportunities to learn about various health care positions and careers.
Internships
Internships for Executive MHA students are supported on a case-by-case basis. Students interested in exploring internship opportunities should contact the Executive MHA graduate program and career advisor to discuss needs and potential placements.
Alumni Resources
We encourage you to stay in touch and take advantage of the available alumni resources. Connect with your classmates, learn what fellow alumni are doing professionally, browse job listings, and more.
