We have a dedicated graduate program and career advisor. The advisor is available to meet and discuss career goals and paths, assist with editing resume and cover letters, connect prospective and current students with an alum, and more. The advisor organizes quarterly events that vary in content, including a speaker series with health care leaders and program alumni.

Through the Master of HIHIM Stakeholders Program, students can connect with a mentor from the health informatics and health information management community. A mentor can provide career guidance, enhance professional networks, and become a lifelong professional and personal connection.

The speaker series allows students to engage with industry-based leaders, visionaries, policy makers, and renowned leaders from local health care organizations. Speakers from various health care organizations and systems offer valuable insights and innovative solutions to some contemporary health care challenges.

Students meet and engage with alumni who have varied professional experiences and share their post-degree career pathway. Panel events provide wonderful networking and exchange opportunities with program alumni.
